Ava Valianti’s new single “Sophomore Slump” is honest in a way that’s hard to fake. The melodies are catchy, but there’s also this soft and warm feeling that runs through the whole track. Her voice really pure, emotional and easy to connect with. The production is solid and well put together, giving space for her vocals while still keeping the instrumental interesting. It all works together in a smooth way. She’s young and clearly talented and this track shows a lot of promise. Definitely one to keep an eye on.
