Arkells x Poolside released a new single, “What’s On Your Mind”. Sometimes a simple song is the smart move and that is what works here. This track does not try to do too much, but it still leaves a strong mark. The vocals are one of the best parts for me. They sound smooth, clear, and easy to enjoy. I also really liked the atmosphere. There is something light and warm in the sound that makes the song easy to stay with. The instrumentation is well made and fits the vocals very well. The melodies are catchy, the lyrics are easy to enjoy and the whole song has a memorable charm.
