The Wirelight just released a new single called “Lift” and it comes in with the kind of amazing spark that makes a room wake up. Lewis Beard builds the track with big guitars, sharp drums, warm horns and strong vocals that keep pushing the song higher. The vocal delivery is smooth but still loud enough to carry the full rush of the music. The song came from a drive around San Diego and a thought about a rich West Coast life seen through an aimless trust fund kid. That idea gives the track a sunny, loose story, while the melodies, production and rich sound make it easy to play again. What an amazing track!
