Flower Face returns with her new single “Bad Dream”, and her voice is the first thing that caught me. Her dreamy vocals carry so much emotion and the melodies are soft and easy to remember. The song is about loving someone in your mind, then seeing that the real person is not who you imagined. That idea gives the writing a sad and honest edge. I really loved the way the guitars, synths, and drums sit around her voice without making the track too busy. The production and mixing are excellent. Flower Face puts care into her music and I’m excited to hear what comes next.
