Matt of Matts released his debut single “Come Thou Fount of Unforgetting”, and I kept coming back to it almost every day. The song opens with loose acoustic guitar, soft synth sounds and his deep and rich vocal delivery. The backing vocals by his daughter were an amazing and smart idea to be honest. I loved how warm and strange the whole track sounds. His voice is smooth, calm, and confident and the melodies stay strong from start to finish. The production is solid and clean but still has a personal touch.
