Indie artist Sammy Listoe has released a new single, “80 Proof Truth”, and man, those guitars sound so good. There is a lot of fire in this song, but his voice is what caught my ear. It is rich, strong and full of character. He sings with real confidence and the melodies give him room to show it. The lyrics touch on tequila, temptation, and a love that is hard to leave behind. I also love how the beat and guitars work together without getting in his way. The chorus is catchy and will get stuck in your head after your first listen. This is loud, fun and very well made music worth hearing. Enjoy and make sure to share it with your friends!
