Blackbird released a new single “Don’t Wake Up the Ghosts”. From the first seconds, her voice stands out. It’s strong and easy to follow. This Finnish artist really found her own way to pull listeners in and it works. The hook stays in your head long after the song ends, helped by lyrics that are simple but hit the right spot. The synths bring a nice atmosphere while the guitars and beats give the track a solid push. There’s also a lot happening in the background which adds depth. I really enjoyed her sound, her style, and her voice. Definitely an artist I’ll keep following.
