Field Cate released a new single, “Cauterizer” and it comes with the kind of fire that makes a first listen easy to remember. The track starts in a more open place, but once the full band steps in, everything gets bigger fast. The guitars hit hard, the drums give it real weight, and the chorus comes in with a huge rush. We really like how polished the whole song sounds without losing its heart. Cate sings about giving too much to someone who keeps causing pain and that story gives the track a strong center. The melodies stay with you, the production is solid and the band’s energy is honestly impressive from start to finish.
