Yesterday I wrote about soft siren’s song “Feeling Down” and today I’m enjoying another song from their album “4AM”. This beautiful ballad “Bury Me in Diamonds” opens with a lovely acoustic guitar and a sad mood that stays with you. Jacqueline’s voice is my favorite part as always. It’s soft, a little dark and very beautiful alongside those haunting melodies. The honest writing tells a story of lost love and the simple arrangement gives them so much space to shine. I really love how the guitar takes a wilder turn later. This trio really knows their sound. After these two songs, I’ll definitely be listening to more.
