Athenasia is a new artist to me, but she got me hooked with her debut single, “Pretty Boy Boy”. This track hits strong from the start with a confident sound and playful vocal touch. The chorus is amazing, easy to remember and full of energy. Her voice carries a soft edge that sits well on top of the solid production. The synth work is great and everything fits together in a smooth way. Nothing is overdone, just clear and well built. I really enjoyed the full track from start to finish. This is a strong debut moment for her and I will be watching for more music soon.
