Elijah Cruise released his new single “Black / White”, which caught my attention from the first few seconds. The energy gets even better when the chorus arrives with strong vocals, memorable melodies and a rich sound that works perfectly. I also loved the production here. It has a nostalgic touch that brings early 2010s nights to mind, while still sounding fresh. The lyrics are about wanting to run away with someone you love and staying close no matter what happens. There is something romantic and slightly dark about the atmosphere. Elijah Cruise is talented and I would happily hear more from him soon.
