French composer Taisen returns with a short but very beautiful project called “The Fall Session”. The EP only has three tracks, but each one feels full and carefully made. It’s the kind of music that asks you to slow down and really listen.

The opening track, “Clouds” starts the EP in a calm and cinematic way. The sound is relaxing and peaceful. It’s like watching clouds slowly move across the sky. I really like the small details in the music. Different sounds appear little by little, and they keep the track interesting from start to finish. Everything has space to breathe.

The second track, “A Cycle Ends” might be my favorite. The piano work here is very smooth and emotional. It’s soft and warm, but there is also a small touch of sadness in the melody. The instruments around the piano add a lot of depth without becoming too heavy. It’s the kind of song that is perfect for quiet moments when you just want to sit back and relax.

The final track, “Amalgam” takes a different path. This one slowly builds and grows as it moves forward. The production here is really impressive. New layers of sound appear step by step and the track becomes bigger as it continues. It’s cinematic and dramatic at times, but it still keeps the gentle style of the EP.

Even though this record is only three tracks long, it doesn’t sound too short. Each track is rich with sound and emotion. After finishing the EP, I actually wanted to play it again right away. What I also like about this project is how creative it feels. The music sounds unique and personal. It doesn’t feel like something trying to follow trends. it feels honest and full of passion.

Overall, this EP shows how talented Taisen is as a composer and producer. It’s inspiring music that invites listeners to slow down, reflect and enjoy the beauty of sound and piano.
