Joe Bray has released his new single “Eternal” and this is my first real time sitting with his music. He came onto my radar with a sound that is smooth, honest and easy to play again. The production keeps things simple, but there is a lot of care in the small details. Soft elements, gentle textures and a clear mix give his voice enough room to breathe. I like how he sings with control and that makes the lyrics easier to connect with. The melody stays in the head and the sound design gives the track its own quiet color. This song is a lovely introduction and I’d gladly keep an eye on Joe’s next releases.
