Maryn Charlie just released a new single called “Hit By Lightning” and it leaves a strong impression. There is something very soft and honest about the way she builds this track. Her voice carries real emotion and that is what stayed with me most after the song ended. The chorus is lovely, easy to hold onto, and her melodies move in a very great way. I also liked how gentle the song sounds without losing its weight. The production is professional, but it never gets in the way of the heart of the song. Everything works together well. Maryn sounds confident here and this release makes me want to hear much more from her.
