Simonne Jones released her new sigle “If You Leave” and right away her voice becomes the main reason to stay with it. The vocal production is solid and full of character, giving her delivery a catchy but haunting edge. She sings with control, but nothing sounds stiff. The melodies move with care and the whole track has a rich late-night atmosphere that makes every second easy to enjoy. The song opens “Meiosis X” an upcoming concept album shaped around identity, change and the heartbeat, and that idea fits the sound well. The production, mixing and mastering are excellent with strong details that make the track shine without losing its mystery. I really loved this one!
