Solo Ronin opens his new single “10,000 Miles” with a quiet acoustic guitar and a voice that sounds close, honest and hurt. From there, the song grows step by step, adding more weight until the full band arrives and gives the chorus real power. Ronin sings about distance, regret and the words people leave unsaid, and his rich voice carries every part with care. The melodies are strong and easy to remember while the strong chorus stays with you after the song ends. I also loved the small details in the instrumentation and the sad atmosphere around them. This is a moving release from an artist I will be watching closely from now on.
