Travis Straw is back with a new single, “Lip Service”, and once again, I enjoyed his music. The female vocals are lovely and I like how they sit alongside the warm sounds and sweet melodies. The song has a relaxed start, while the chorus brings its story into focus. It’s about a lonely man who spends money at a bar just to have someone talk to him. There’s some humor in that, but also something sad. I always enjoy Travis’s writing and his choice of voices. The clean mixing, great mastering and careful production make this another lovely release from him. Enjoy it and make sure to share with your friends!
