VALDIS just landed on my radar. She has something worth hearing with her new single, “you can do a lot with a broken heart”. I love that she doesn’t turn a sad story into a sad song. Her voice has so much character and she sings every line with so much confidence. The sound design works so well with her voice and the chorus is my favorite part. It’s catchy without losing what the lyrics are saying. The song is about getting through heartbreak without putting your whole life on hold.
