CA in LA are back with their new single “Waking Up”, and I’m happy to write about this duo again. The song opens with soft guitars and piano before the vocals come in, and everything grows naturally from there. I loved the chorus of this song, especially the strong melodies and the way the vocals sit over the music. Their writing is honest and easy to connect with, touching on leaving harmful habits behind and choosing a better path. The production is solid, the instruments work beautifully together, and nothing sounds overdone. Once again, CA in LA has made a memorable song and I’m excited to follow their journey.
