Travis Straw is back with a new single, “Fck That” and once again he shows why I always enjoy writing about his music. The song opens with a lively country sound, but the story soon gets darker. His writing is honest and direct as he imagines a whole relationship before it even starts, then pain slowly takes over. The chorus is my favorite part here. It’s catchy, sharp and full of character. I loved how the music builds around the story without getting too busy. The production is solid, the emotion is real and Travis delivers another strong song.
