The Mushroom Cloud released “Metallic Baldwin” a long track packed with dark sounds, strong character and great details. The vocals are smooth and sit nicely over the heavy guitars, while the instruments keep moving in new directions as the song grows. There is a haunting mood running through the whole track, but the energy never gets lost. I really like how the production gives every sound enough space while still keeping everything powerful. The melodies stay in your head and the writing adds more depth. I like the rich atmosphere and creative arrangement here. This is a bold and memorable release from a professional band.
