The Glorious Rabbits have released their live album “Squared (Live)” and I have to say, this was one of the best listening experiences I’ve had in months. I really enjoyed everything about it, from the great sounds and strong vocals to the wonderful guitar work and the way the whole band plays together. There is so much to enjoy here and I honestly didn’t want the album to end.
Recorded live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in October 2025, the album shows how much these guys love making music together. What I enjoyed most was the variety. Every song has something different to offer, whether it’s the melodies, the instruments, or the writing. The sound quality is also excellent, especially for a live recording. You can hear the care that went into the production without losing what makes a live performance so enjoyable.
The opening track, “No Smoke No Fire”, was an instant favorite of mine. The vocals are strong, the guitars and drums sound great together and that guitar solo is just fantastic. I went back to this one several times because there’s so much good music packed into it.
Another song I couldn’t stop playing was the closing track, “My Little Tent”. What a fun way to finish an album! I loved the catchy vocals, the lovely melodies, and the playful sound of the instruments. The lyrics are amazing and make this one such an easy and enjoyable listen.
I love that The Glorious Rabbits don’t take themselves too seriously. Behind the rabbit suits and all the fun, there’s a group of musicians who know what they’re doing. Their years of friendship and love for music come through in their work.
“Squared” is a great example of how enjoyable a live album can be when the songs, musicians and production all come together. I enjoyed every minute of these 40 minutes, and I’m already looking forward to hearing more from this band. Enjoy and make sure to share it with your friends!
