Libby Ember is back with her new single “Pool Life” and there is something very honest about the way she tells this story. She sings about watching other people live freely while standing just outside that world, wishing she could join them. The writing is simple, personal, and easy to understand. I also like how the live drums, bass, and guitar give the song a warm and natural sound. There is no big chorus here, but the verses keep moving nicely. Her soft voice fits the quiet mood perfectly, and the clean production leaves enough space for every small detail to breathe. I loved this one!
