Skogebrandt has a new version of his song “Don’t Wait Up”, and I think I like this one even more. There isn’t much going on around his voice which is exactly why it works. The piano is there from the start, and the few sounds added later never get in his way. You can hear every little change in his singing. I love that. The song follows a young woman who moves to the city with big dreams, only to find life isn’t so easy.
