Matthew Boll has returned to music with his new single “Fire and Oceans”, and what a voice he has. It’s rich, strong and full of confidence, his singing is my favorite part. The music around him is just as good. The instruments work beautifully together and the clean mix leaves his voice right where it belongs. What starts as a story about romance slowly opens into something stranger with old memories coming back to life. I also love how naturally he tells that story. After years in bands and time away from music, this is a first step on his own. I love his style and would love to hear his next releases. He is an artist to watch!
