Loring released a new single called “Weightless”, and I have to say this is my song of the month. August is my favorite month, so that says a lot. The song starts with bright synths and quickly settles into a catchy rhythm, with guitars adding extra life. I loved the melodies, the strong chorus, and the clean production from start to finish. The lyrics are about wanting to switch your brain off when everything becomes too much, which fits the music well. “Weightless” has great energy, smart synth work and a sound that makes me want more from Loring.
